Regional Rail Working Group
A Consortium of Transit Advocacy Organizations

Next Monthly Meeting:
Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 6 to 8 PM
Please note the location for this meeting:
Hoboken Parking Utility Conference Room, Ground Floor
City Hall, 98 Washington Street, Hoboken New Jersey
Two blocks west of the Hoboken Terminal PATH Station

Discussion will continue on NEC Future -- a plan for the Northeast Corridor to be developed by the USDOT. The centerpiece of an enhanced NEC rail plan must necessarily focus on alternatives for increasing passenger rail capacity across the Hudson River. But ALL relevant regional and local rail options, and related operational and development strategies etc. anywhere in the Boston-Washington corridor (including “feeder” routes) are appropriate.

Please note that the deadline for submitting written comments on the Scoping Document for the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact has been extended until October 19, 2012 so there is still an opportunity for you to get your views on alternatives and analysis concepts on the record. Please use the USDOT website – NECFuture.com -- to find out more about the scoping process and to submit your comments on line. All comments must be reviewed by USDOT.
